About Oblivious Software Ltd.

Oblivious builds privacy-enhancing software that enables companies to deploy secure data infrastructure while integrating seamlessly into existing development workflows.

Premise

The Oblivious team got in touch needing a full rethink of their two product documentation sites. The existing versions had fallen out of step with their evolved brand identity and, more critically, were getting in the way of their users. Developers trying to learn and integrate the software were met with unclear information hierarchy, pages that were hard to scan, and a search function that simply didn't work. Finding the right step at the right moment felt like more effort than it should — and that needed to change.

Objective

Redesign both documentation platforms to give developers and users a clearly structured, visually accessible space — one that makes learning, understanding, and integrating Oblivious' software fast, intuitive, and as frictionless as possible.

Solution

Research & Stakeholder Alignment

We started by listening. Through workshops and sessions with the internal team, we audited the existing sites, mapped pain points, and validated the user research flow with stakeholders — making sure the redesign was grounded in real needs before touching a single pixel.

New Information Architecture

We rebuilt the navigation and content structure from the ground up, organizing everything around the user's actual learning journey — step by step, goal by goal. The result is a menu and page hierarchy that helps developers find what they need quickly and understand it without having to fight the layout.

Visual Redesign & Design System

The new interface follows Oblivious' updated brand guidelines, with a scalable component system built for long-term use. This includes both dark and light mode, responsive design for mobile, and a thorough accessibility and color contrast review — so the experience works well for everyone, everywhere.

Developer Handoff & Ongoing Support

Once the design was ready, we handed off to the internal dev team with full Figma documentation, internal resources, and continued Q&A sessions — making sure nothing got lost in translation between design and implementation.
